I'm a Winner!

How cool is this?!?! I just found out that I won a Shadow Work Embroidery DVD from Wendy Schoen and a floche sampler pack, all from the Sew Beautiful Blog!
It's been forever since I've done any shadow work, but I loved doing it when I did it for Morgan. I can't wait to get something started for Lillie!
I'm so glad that I found their blog, I've been in love with the magazine for the past 16 years! I have stacks of them in my craft room!
Congratulations to all of the other winners!

The last of the creativity for awhile!

So I'm thinking this will be the last creative post for awhile! I had to share a picture of the carseat cover I made using this tutorial.
I actually made last week and just hadn't taken a picture of it until now!
I just love the watermelon fabric!

Now, it just needs the baby!

Dress A Girl

I am participating in the Dress A Girl sew a long over at Little Big Girl Studio.
You can learn more about Dress A Girl Around the World here. I completely agree, every little girl should have at least one dress! My Lillie has a closet full already and she's not even here. So this week I've put sewing for Lillie and the house on the back burner and started sewing for other little girls that I've never met, and probably never will. So far I've finished three dresses. I've prayed over each of them for the little girls that will receive them. Who knows, maybe these little girls will do great things!

I can see me making more of these in the future!

March 15th!

March 15th is the BIG day! If she decides to wait that long! (I'm secretly hoping that she doesn't!)
My dr told me that she thought it would be best to induce me a week early because of my history and the longer that you wait you risk having placental issues. I'm fine with inducing so that I can plan things! Like important things, as in getting my family here to be with us to meet this long awaited baby girl! And the fact that almost weekly since moving to Atlanta I've heard on the radio, "Fire fighters deliver baby on side of GA 400!", "Police deliver baby on side of 285!", "EMS crews deliver baby on side of I-20 in rush hour traffic this am!"  And yes, we will be driving on some of these highways to get to the hospital!
I don't want to be one of those ladies! I want to be in the nice comfy hospital in time for my epidural! Yes an epidural, I have nothing to prove! I would much rather be able to enjoy the birth of my child instead of being in agony.
Right now I'm just ready to get her here! I'm done with being pregnant for a while! These next 11 days are going to be long! I go in March 15th at 7pm to start the induction. So I'm figuring that she'll be born sometime in the middle of the night/ early morning on the 16th! At least that's what I'm hoping!

I had my last u/s this week. She is estimated to be about 7lbs 9oz, but that could be off a pound either way!
We didn't get any pictures to bring home with us this time, because she is head down and face down, which made it really hard to get any good pictures!
I'll be keeping everyone posted on when she arrives!
