March 15th!

March 15th is the BIG day! If she decides to wait that long! (I'm secretly hoping that she doesn't!)
My dr told me that she thought it would be best to induce me a week early because of my history and the longer that you wait you risk having placental issues. I'm fine with inducing so that I can plan things! Like important things, as in getting my family here to be with us to meet this long awaited baby girl! And the fact that almost weekly since moving to Atlanta I've heard on the radio, "Fire fighters deliver baby on side of GA 400!", "Police deliver baby on side of 285!", "EMS crews deliver baby on side of I-20 in rush hour traffic this am!"  And yes, we will be driving on some of these highways to get to the hospital!
I don't want to be one of those ladies! I want to be in the nice comfy hospital in time for my epidural! Yes an epidural, I have nothing to prove! I would much rather be able to enjoy the birth of my child instead of being in agony.
Right now I'm just ready to get her here! I'm done with being pregnant for a while! These next 11 days are going to be long! I go in March 15th at 7pm to start the induction. So I'm figuring that she'll be born sometime in the middle of the night/ early morning on the 16th! At least that's what I'm hoping!

I had my last u/s this week. She is estimated to be about 7lbs 9oz, but that could be off a pound either way!
We didn't get any pictures to bring home with us this time, because she is head down and face down, which made it really hard to get any good pictures!
I'll be keeping everyone posted on when she arrives!

Our first baby was born on March 15th. I can imagine how tired you are of being pregnant at this stage.

I agree....an epidural is the ONLY way to go. I always chuckle at the years that it took them to come up with something to make childbirth painfree and then someone "wants" to feel each pain. That is not for me!!!

As they say "happy pushing"!!!!!!!!

How exciting! I don't blame you one bit for wanting an epidural, I was induced with my 1st and OUCH! Good luck to you and can't wait to see your little one:)
