Well we are back from Jamaica, and we had a wonderful time!! I will post some pictures a little later. But first, on my porch waiting for me to open them when we got home last night were my new Anthropologie shabby sheets that I purchased on ebay. So first thing this morning I washed them all up and hung them out on the clothesline in the beautiful sunshine.

Then while I was doing that I noticed that the yearly Tractor Run was starting up this morning. This is a group of farmers that get together and parade there tractors through town. Last year there were about 75 tractors that went by my house. This year I think there were more. It was so much fun to sit on my front porch and see them all go by. Some of them had wagons to pull thier families along with them. Only in the country would you see something like this.

We're off to go school shopping. I'll post pictures from Jamaica later this evening.

July 30th was our three year wedding anniversary. I had to work and Eric had class, so we didn't even get to see each other that day at all. But we did pass in the doorway the night before. And as we passed Eric handed these off to me. Aren't they beautiful?

Eric ran a 10K today and came in 3rd in his age group. Not bad considering he has not been training or ran a race in 13 years. It was lots of fun. Seeing all of these people out there that you would not even think could walk much less run, it made me want to do one. Maybe one day I will. Of course I don't have any pictures, I took my camera and ended up leaving it the car.
We leave Monday for Jamaica!!!

Problem fixed. I had to remove the site meter. I'm back in business now.

I'm having some problems with my blog and my computer. I can't pull up my blog on my computer but I can on my husbands computer. When I try to it says that internet explorer can not run this program and will be aborted. It's always something wrong when it comes to me and technology.

Here's a few pictures of our beach vacation. We had a wonderful time. Lots of fun, sun and good food:) It's nice to be home, but I can't wait until next year. But I really don't have to wait that long, I'm going to Jamaica in 11 days!!

We're heading to the beach!!! On Tuesday we will be leaving, after working two nights in a row and getting off at 8am, for the Outerbanks. I'm trying to get everything packed up now so I can just come home get in the car, already packed, and sleep the whole way to the beach. I can't wait!
I've been going through stuff here getting ready for the move. We had a yardsale last weekend. We did really well. I did a little over $300, all together we did about $1000. We had lots of stuff. I did not bring one single thing back into my home after the sale, it all went to goodwill. I will be having another one after the house sales, or we figure out where we'll be.
I've also made a lifestyle change. I've joined Weight Watchers. I'm hoping that this works for me. I'm going to really try to stick to it.
